Rev 6:7 When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth. The fourth arrives on a pale horse and he was Death. Death was given the power of a fourth of the earth to kill with what the the second, third and now fourth horsemen brought forth. This was the sword by the second, famine by the third and now plague is set on the earth by Death. Hades refers to the spirits of the dead that now are eternally in hell. Death also brings forth wild beasts that, along with the four horsemen, help to control the one fourth of the earth that God has given them power over.

In Season 5, Episode 10, "Abandon All Hope", Lucifer performs a ritual to raise Death from hell. Unlike War and Famine, we do not see Death with a vehicle that resembles a horse. He is raised at the end of the episode and news channels report death and destruction in the area of where Death has been summoned.
