War - The Red Horse

Rev 6:3 When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword. (http://www.apocalipsis.org/fourhorsemen.htm).
The second horsemen arrives on a red horse, with a large sword. He represents war and is set forth to take away the peace of man. He was to cause men to fight with each other, bringing "wars and rumors of wars", causing men to "kill one another" (Morris, pg 113). Ultimately, the second horsemen is sent forth to eliminate the sinners on earth by merely fighting amongst themselves.
In Season 5, Episode 2, "Good God, Y'all", the second horsemen, War, is introduced. Instead of riding on a horse as told by Revelations, he appears in town driving a red Mustang. He turns one half of the town against the other by making them believe each other are demons. This relates to the second horsemen's bringing of war and rumors of war. Dean finally confronts War, and cuts off his finger that he had a ring on. This ring was his power source, and with it removed he left the town and everything returned to normal.
